Housing, Homelessness and Multiple disadvantage: responding to survivors of domestic abuse

We are curating an exciting programme that will respond to themes around Housing and Domestic Abuse.  This event promises to follow the success of previous DVCN conferences. It provides our members and guests with a platform in which to share good practice, current research and legal frameworks, and to support and evolve lobbying on local and national issues relating to domestic abuse.

The conference will be focusing on the challenges within the Housing sector when responding to the needs of survivors of domestic abuse experiencing multiple disadvantage and homelessness.

The conference will include a variety of expert speakers from across the country working in the Housing sector and in specialist services.

The event will present examples of good practice around safe and appropriate service responses for survivors and perpetrators and successful commissioning approaches.

Speakers will include representatives from Peabody, Threshold Women’s Housing First Service (Manchester), Gentoo, Cambridgeshire County Council, Fulfilling Lives Islington and Camden (FLIC) and Northumbria Police amongst others.

Spaces to this event are limited, reserve your place asap to avoid any disappointment. Please feel free to invite those within your local partnerships and networks. Full agenda details to follow soon.
