Team Manager

A brilliant opportunity to be part of the UK’s first Child House – an exciting innovative project to improve the experiences and outcomes for children and young people who have experienced sexual abuse.

Solace Women’s Aid will work alongside NSPCC to deliver the advocacy element of this innovative project based in North Central London and building on our experience of the CSA Hub.

Child House will provide all medical, advocacy, social care, police, and therapeutic support from one place to ensure children, young people and their families receive timely justice, support and therapy so that they can move forward towards recovering from the abuse.

You will also have demonstrable experience of child-centred direct work that promotes the voice, rights, participation and best interests of the child and engages family/key people in planning, decision-making and evaluation.

We are looking for a Team Manager:

An experienced Team Manager with experience of promoting the voice of children and their families; working within multi-agency and multi-disciplinary networks; the ability to identify risk and have experience of child protection, criminal and legal processes; research and best practice; and the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of their own practice.
