Evaluation of 'This is Abuse' Campaign Materials

The most recent phase of the ‘This is Abuse’ campaign launched on 5 December 2013 and marketing activity ran until the end of April 2014.

The campaign is aimed at 13 to 18 year old boys and girls with the aim preventing them from becoming victims and perpetrators of abusive relationships by educating them about what constitutes violence, abuse, controlling behaviour and what consent means within their relationships.  All campaign activity directed teenagers to the This is Abuse website to get further help, advice and support.

To help support the national marketing campaign in local areas the Home Office made a range of support materials available to partners, which they could order free of charge, along with a discussion guide which uses these materials to facilitate discussions with teenagers.

The Home Office would be very grateful if you could take the time to complete the online survey to let them know what you think about the campaign, supporting materials and the discussion guide.  The online survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.

All your responses will be used to help evaluate the campaign, support materials and discussion guide and help to develop future support materials for partners. To help the Home Office with their evaluation, they will ask for your contact details at the end of the survey. Providing your personal information is voluntary, if you do provide your personal information it will:
• Be used to contact you for further analysis of your response
• Be kept for a maximum of up to 1 year from the closing date of this survey and then securely destroyed
• Not be shared with any other third parties
• Stored on a secure Government IT system
