Sounds Familiar Report, The Fawcett Society

Sounds Familiar -  a study of more than 8,000 people by the Fawcett Society found that two out of five men and one-third of women thought that a woman was partially to blame for being sexually assaulted if she was out late at night, drinking and wearing a short skirt.

These findings help to explain why misogyny is so widespread, why violence against women and girls remains commonplace, and why the gender pay gap remains so hard to close.
