WWA have been contracted to manage the All Wales Domestic Abuse Helpline following a successful tender application.
The Helpline services from the 1st April will be extended to provide information and sign posting for callers experiencing sexual violence. WWA learnt this week that their application to tender has been accepted by the Welsh Assembly Government.
WWA have previously managed the Helpline since its inception in 2004, and to date the Helpline has managed more than 80,000 telephone calls from women and men experiencing or concerned about domestic abuse.
