Join Eaves for an informal evening of tapas, wine and networking on the Thursday 17th January 2013 in a private room at the fabulous gastro pub, the Norfolk Arms, to raise awareness of our work.
They have just 20 tickets available for this intimate evening and they would love you for you to be one of their guests.
The evening will kick-off with drinks from 6:30pm – 7pm. Then we will hear from the inspirational Vanessa Valleley.
Vanessa Vallely the speaker at this event is the founder of We Are The City – serving an audience of 70,000 city women; and the sister company CareersCity, a recruitment portal for city jobs. She also founded Network of networks which includes Diversity heads and heads of women networks from 45 FSTE firms. She’s a philanthropist, supporting a number of charities. In 2011, she won Champion for Women award; and described as 100 most influential women in Finance.
Food will be served from 7.30pm onwards and you are welcome to stay and mingle until 9pm.

About your speaker
Vanessa Vallely, is founder of leading City women’s networking site www.wearethecity.com and female job board www.careerscity.co.uk.. She is also the Co founder of a citywide Diversity Forum, The Network of Networks and is considered as one of the most well networked Women across the City. Vanessa is a Financial News Top 100 Rising Star, an International Alliance for Women top 100 female making a global difference, the 2011 Winner of the Women’s Champion Award for Women in Finance and Banking, an FN100 Rising Star and most recently she was cited as one of the top 30 Inspirational Women in the City.

Throughout this session you will hear about Vanessa’s own career journey from Analyst to Chief Operating Officer and the tools she used to raise her own profile and that of others. Throughout the session she will not only reflect on her own 23 year in Finance, but she will speak about how the Internet & social media helped her to create her brand on line and the opportunities this lead to in terms of her career and personal progression
