The women's charity Eaves is currently monitoring the Destitution Domestic Violence Concession Scheme which was introduced in April 2012, replacing the Sojourner Pilot Project. The DDV Concession Monitoring Project is monitoring the transition from the Sojourner Pilot Project to the mainstreamed Destitution Domestic Violence (DDV) concession scheme and also examining women’s support and advocacy needs while they navigate through the system, regularizing their immigration status as well as accessing benefits.
Eaves has developed a survey to gather as much information as possible from a range of service providers and agencies working with women with no recourse to public funds. The information provided by agencies will feed into the findings of the monitoring project and inform recommendations.
Click here to access the survey. Please answer as many questions as you possibly can. The monitoring form is also available in a Word document format if you have any problems accessing the online form.
If you have any questions or would like Eaves to provide you with further information about the project, contact Nisan Zerai Kesete.
