IKWRO is a specialist charity organisation offering free advice, advocacy and support for women and girls of Middle Eastern origin who are still oppressed in the UK from highly patriarchal cultures, particularly Farsi, Kurdish, Arab, Turkish and Dari speaking women who have been affected by or who are experiencing domestic violence, forced marriages, female genital mutilation and “honour” killings. They also provide generic advice and provide free counselling.
IKWRO is running a weekly surgery in Hammersmith and Fulham 2 days advice and advocacy and 1 day counselling.
